On my second night at Dos Brisas, they left me words of wisdom and two delicious oatmeal raisin cookies by my bed. I took the opportunity to whip out my Samsung SH 100 and make a cool pic with one click.
You have one day left to win the camera by doing the same thing!
Replicate this effect or three others and submit it by 12 PST tomorrow. Click here for the entry details.
I’m giving away a new Samsung social media camera on my blog!!!
I’ve been loving this thing for the last month. For $200 it’s is pretty impressive:
- 14 megapixels
- HD video
- Touchscreen
- Wifi connection
- Upload to Facebook and Photobucket
- Email to anyone AND YOUR TUMBLR!
- Backs up wirelessly to a PC
It’s easy to enter. Click here for details.
Love this pic of Hasti I took using the “Old Film” filter on the Samsung SH100 backstage at a fashion show I was in recently.
There are 12 filters you can use to enhance your photos instantly a la Instagram. I only like 5, and so far this is my favorite.
My friend’s Olympus has something similar, but it’s more expensive and doesn’t connect to the internet.
(Full Disclosure: In accordance to the FTC Guidelines and WOMMA Code of Ethics, I am disclosing that my time and efforts have been compensated by Samsung for my participation in the Coast to Coast Photo Post campaign, and I was also provided a Samsung SH100 camera. Although I have a material connection to Samsung, any publicly stated opinions of Samsung remain my own.)
Samsung has just completed a cross-country tour involving influential bloggers and YouTubers to help promote their new Wifi enabled camera the SH 100 (retails for $199). I was honored to be involved and even happier when I loved the camera so I could bring them on board to sponsor MTM.
Let me give you the headlines of this baby:
- 14.2 Megapixel resolution!
- Navigates via touchscreen
- Links to the internet via Wifi or Boingo
- Uploads directly to Facebook, YouTube, Picassa, Photobucket
- Allows you to email pics from the camera
- Features tons of settings, filters, and correcting tools for stills and video
- Backs up automatically to a PC
That’s all I know thus far. So we’re going to learn more about it together.
In 4 weeks, there will be a contest where you can win the camera!
I’ll give you a clue as to how you can win easily: Keep up with the pics I post using the Samsung SH100 and comment on the posts. Your comments WILL MATTER and could automatically enter you to win without having to compete later. So comment away (even start on this post!). All that I ask is to keep your opinion relevant to the content or quality of the picture.
See that red spot on the top of my forehead…and the two on my cheek….In real life, they’re MUCH bigger and MUCH more red. Not sure what is going on with my skin right now.
But that’s another story.
The point is that my acne was instantly blended with a couple clicks on the touchscreen of my new camera! Obviously Polly (the dog) is just as excited as I am.
I’ve been working with Samsung on their campaign for the new Wifi enabled “Social Media” camera – the SH100. It’s pretty cool! So I was really excited when they came on board to sponsor MTM for a month.
There are tons of features on this camera, most of which I haven’t discovered yet. In the upcoming weeks, I’ll figure out what else this bad boy can do. I haven’t had a real camera in while. My iPhone served the purpose, but not fully. The pictures can be blurry and the flash gives terrible red eye.
At the end of the month, there’ll be a contest for you to win a camera too!
I’ll tell you this much, it will involve the pictures I post on the blog and COMMENTS YOU MAKE about them. SO COMMENT AWAY!
