On a blogging note: Reilly chose The Hall in Palihouse in Weho to have his intimate dinner. Great choice. Casual bistro setting with delicious food. My grilled swordfish with veggies was so tasty, I didn’t envy Steve with his burger smothered in caramelized onions. That’s actually saying a lot.
The atmosphere was cool but cozy, and the lounge showed potential for a good time (I was a little weary after my long day, so I turned in early).

LOUNGE HARD OR GO HOME
(love this picture, it’s like I told everyone to be silly.)
Welcome to The Stork, LA’s hottest new night lounge (night clubs are so 2002). Uber exclusive, the restaurant will only let you in if you are referred for a reservation. Sounds pretentious, it is, but that’s what make a night lounge fabulous.
Holding court in the far back corner for her birthday celebration is Ashely Simpson with cutie pie Pete Wentz, sister Jess, and of course Dad is in the mix. Jessica’s dress was a disaster (like Cavalli gone very wrong, so it probably was Cavalli), but that girl looks beautiful in anything.
Decorated to transport the feel of the original New York Stork, you’ll find vintage art mixed with modern additions. The food is delightful in tapas portions so you don’t get weighed down before you head upstairs.
This place will hit it big. Get on the guest list now!

This is Ross, as in Ross Calls, the already famous cocktail at The Stork. A delicious mixture of cucmber, lime, and mint with vodka that people claim you can drink all night without getting a hangover. I only had one so I’m in the clear.

Last night a friend and I dined at one of his favorite Beverly Hills spots: Porto Via.
The decor is modern but not at all pretentious, so instantly you feel comfortable. One glance at the menu and you’re confused because everything looks so good! Not to mention, all of the produce is organic, and the fare is light and healthy. We chose an heirloom tomato, watermelon, and feta salad to start, and finished with salmon in marinara and the most AMAZING Parmesan-crusted halibut.
You might find a celeb or two here, but you will certainly appreciate the greeting from Peter the owner and the local vibe he has created. On a gorgeous LA night, dining al fresco, with good company, and amazing food, you really can’t ask for anything more.
Without a doubt, Porto Via is one of my favorite Italian eateries in Los Angeles. (Might have to go back before I leave!)

The girls and I had lunch at NYC’s PR power lunch spot: Trattoria Dell’Arte.
Head to Toe:
- Ray Ban sunnies
- Alice + Olivia dress from last season that didn’t fit Megs (it was too big) so she gave it to me
- Lai clutch that was a Christmas gift from Megs
- Bernardo patent flip flops
Thanks for sponsoring my outfit Megs!

My favorite brunch spot on the East side. Healthy and delicious, the fresh fare is always worth the wait. Located on Irving between 18th and 19th in Gramercy.
This morning I made breakfast: egg white omelette with soy cheese and mushrooms, avocado on the side, wheat toast, and fresh oj. Ok, I have a friend visiting, but I would make that usually. Lazy days involve fiber cereal with soy milk and fruit.
I should be inside working, but the warm weather drew me outside. I’m loving New York right now.
(I didn’t spell check that one. shit)
