Meghan sent this to me today. And as she said in the email, “it seems like such a long time ago.”
When I found Mason on AdotptAPet.com his name was Gary. Obviously he’s way too cute to be a Gary! (Sorry to all Gary’s out there…) All week I had been putting together a list for Megs and I to review on the way to Jersey to pick him up. She chose Mason :)

You make the bed, I un-make it. Think of it as an early turn-down service. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to chase cats in my dreams.

A Holiday Hug from Me and Mase! x
(I just created this card and sent it to over 115 people via Paperless Post for $10 plus stamps in less than an hour! Love the concept and worth the money. Free to join and you pay for special features and stamps. Love it!)
Thank you Mom. I want to be in the hot tub with the cool kids, but not actually be in the water. I don’t think that’s asking too much.
While shooting the TMI episode on nail clipping at Friends 4 Life, I quickly found out Mason was NOT a fan of getting a mani-pedi.
But I figured I would give it one more try on my own before heading back to the groomers at Petco and laying down my Visa.
Turns out, Mason was just camera shy. He wasn’t thrilled I was cuttting his nails, but he didn’t put up a fight either. In fact, he turned over on his back and let me clip away. I didn’t dare get too close to the quick on my first shot because I wanted to keep his trust.
The whole thing was over in minutes. So easy. I’m not sure why I was nervous.
(Clippers from Collar and Leash = $9. Normal nail clipping = $20)
You haven’t met Leven’s new chihuahua Suki. She rescued him from a shelter where she volunteers in our neighborhood.
Is he not the cutest?!
At three years old, he’s very calm and wants to cuddle constantly….in my lap (aka my crotch) while I work.
Fortunately for me, I’m used to having a little head resting on my arm while I type. Unfortunately for Mason, that’s usually his head.
He was not so pleased to find another dog had moved in when we returned from NYC.
So Mase has resigned to his second favorite spot -between my legs in front of the computer.
It’s a regular dog pound over here I tell ya.
Look at how well behaved Mason is. He’s sitting patiently on his bag as we wait for Lev. Such a good boy.
