This is my mom and I last weekend at our friend’s outdoor wedding.Â She’s actually taller than me, but I’m in heels and she, being a smart mother, wore flats.
If your mom is like mine, she can be hard to shop for. DIY projects can be fun to do, thoughtful, and impressive. Sounds like we’re on to something here :)

When I Googled “DIY Eater egg baskets” I really never expected to run into sewing patterns and paper mache. My thought was cute ways to decorate actual baskets….But the paper mache concept is cute!
Block Party Press gives you very detailed instructions here on how to make the “baskets” above. I think they’re super cute and unusual and would entertain kids for at least two days.
