FINISH LINE — THE BALM ::
Over the last couple of months I’ve been testing out The Balm products (courtesy of Alison Brod PR).  As with every other cosmetic line, I would only recommend some of the products.  I can’t imagine anyone uses products from only from one line.
My favorite is the Overshadow(in No Money, No Honey - $15).  It’s a light shimmer to brighten up the makeup you’ve had on all day.  I put it over the Stila “Kitten” shadow on my lid, and bam, my eyes pop.  Love it, love it, love it.
TheBalm Hot Mamma blushis the da bomb.  It’s the perfect shade of peach and has a little shimmer to make your spring look shine. Usually, I use Eve Pearl or Cover Girl’s three tone pallets, but they are too matte and orange for spring.
I’m up in the air with the TimeBalm concealer ($18).  Megan and many other friends swear by it, but it’s a little too thick for my taste.  I use it to highlight my cheekbones for photo shoots and TMI tapings.
Finally the SheerBalm lip gloss (not pictured).  To be honest, not a fan.  Aside from the gloss being too sheer, it’s also sticky. Like goop, not at all kissable.
Conclusion: Definitely try out the Overshadow.  Most shimmer shadows are too intense, but this one is light enough to not cake over your other shadow and really will make your eye pop.  As for the blush, I enjoy having it in my bag.  Is it a must…for me, right now, yes.
