The iCloud. Awwwww. «cue angels singing»
Our dreams of having EVERYTHING sync seamlessly is finally coming true this fall. For those of you who aren’t apple fanatics or even don’t understand the wonders of MobileMe, let me explain:
All of your devices
Syncing all of your content
Automatically
Without having to plug anything in.
The cost to us - nothing. When you sign up, for no cost they’ll give you 5GB of space for properties that aren’t Apple. In other words, everything from iTunes, Apps, your Photo Stream, Calendars, etc won’t go against that space; it can be used for email and documents.
As Fast Company points out, the “free” now means more money later for Apple.
At this time, there aren’t any complaints, and you won’t hear one from me. You crazy PC people need to come join us on the bright and colorful Apple side for the iCloud and countless other reasons.
