Book giveaway! It has pages, and they turn!
This blog is about travel a good chunk of the time. Andrew Hyde’s brand new book This Book Is About Travel is about travel all the time. And I have a copy to give away to someone!
I was a backer of Andrew’s book project on Kickstarter and he was kind enough to send me two copies so that I could give one away. Here’s how it can be yours: Since the book is about Andrew’s adventures going to 15 countries with only 15 items in his possession, I want you to send me your dream 15-country itinerary through my ask page before midnight Eastern time on Sunday night/Monday morning (if you don’t ask through a Tumblr account, please include an email address so I can contact you).
You can just name all 15 in a list, but if you really want to stand out, I would also love to know your #1 must-do in each of your choice countries. It’s Friday, and Fridays are for daydreaming, so I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
I’ll contact the lucky winner by Tuesday. You can be anywhere in the world — it would be so hypocritical of me to be giving away a book about global travel and say I’ll only ship it to the U.S. If you are reading this and you are a penguin and you would like me to send it to your ice floe off the Antarctic coast, I will find a way to make that happen. I’ll also include a little note and a small surprise. Which will be anchovies if you are a penguin, and non-anchovies if you are not a penguin.
P.S.: You can also buy Andrew’s book in print and ebook.
