GPOYW: I love my Pinch edition!
Last week I encouraged you to venture out on your own and meet new people at a bar. That’s how I met Bob and he’s now one of my favorite friends in life.
We were the only two people at the bar in a small tex mex joint in New Canaan. He sat down and within minutes a plate of chicken fajitas was sizzling in front of him. I had been chatting with the bartender, and obviously he was a local so I invited him to join us. He laughed at me today because I actually said, “hey, what are you doing down there? Come over here and join us.”
The whole point is that you never know who you’ll meet, just take the chance, and if nothing else, you learn someone else’s story.
