What will you click to buy - Cyber Monday
I honestly don’t think I need anything….
What are you buying?
A Good Partner.
Roy: I know times have changed, but a man is still a man. And you deserve to have your wife respect you.
Tom: She respects me plenty Roy.
Here's the thing you have to understand about Lynette. She grew up without her Dad. Her mom was a drinker so she had to be responsible for everyone.
Roy: Well, that's rough.
Tom: Yeah. It left her with this constant fear that everything could suddenly fall apart. And that's why she needs to control everything. Of course she can't, no body can, but she can control me. If I let her. So I do. Because it makes her feel safe. And that is my job as her husband. To make her feel safe.
Roy: You're a good man Scavo.
Tom: I try.
On this sunny Saturday
I’m going to:
— Check out a few of my favorite stores on Robertson to see if there are any good sales.
— Go to the gym for weights and abs class.
— Browse college football. (You know the season is a sham when Cincinatti is ranked 5.)
— Finish gift guides to post next week.
— Start Fashion Week deck.
— Head to the beach to watch my Trojans burn...

Nutritionista + Real Simple = One Thankful Blogger
Dear Nutritionista,
Many thanks for your “Real Simple” Thanksgiving recipe suggestions the other day. I was just going to make my famous chocolate pecan pie. But after reading over some of the dishes you linked to, I decided to try the Shortbread-Pecan Crust with the pie and also make Roast Butternut Squash Puree and this Cranberry Sauce to take to the feast!
I am thankful for all...
Your Plan of Attack for The Feast!
One of my fitness mentors (and the best trainer I have ever worked with) Sam Upton gives you rules to eat by for Thanksgiving.
If there’s one man who can keep us skinny when faced with a table of pie, it’s Sam.
Sam Says -
•Never arrive hungry.
You are less likely to overeat and more likely to feel relaxed and ready to enjoy the festivities if you have a healthful snack or mini-meal...

Lucious Lips
Kissable no, pretty to look at so someone will want to kiss them - yes!
Check out a softer side of ruby red lips. A little more casual than a deep red matte finish.
Here’s what I put on:
NYX lipliner in Natural
Avon red lipstick toned down by smoothing with my finger
Eve Pearl honey bunny lip gloss in the middle of my bottom lip (as a highlight to give the lip a little pucker)
Revlon...

"8 on - 50 off"
Ok, here’s something to change up your lifting routine. Instead of doing 3 sets of 12 with the same weight, I want you to try this:
Get one set of weights that’s considerably heavier than your normal (or increase the weight on the machine). Access the weight, you will be doing 8 reps at this level.
Grab another set that is lighter - for girls 3-5lbs, guys 5-10 lbs.
Start the...

Hi
Sorry I’ve been MIA.
I honestly haven’t been super busy, I just didn’t really have much to say.
I’ve been working, editing (ugh), going to the gym, walking the dogs, enjoying a mellow night out with friends, hiking…No front page news. Just living life and loving it.
I’ll see you on Monday.
